What type of father are you?

Ever wondered how strict a parent you are compared to other parents?
Psychology research shows that the the way you parent can have an influence on your child's development. Take our quiz to find out how strict a parent you are and what's your parenting type.

Four Parental types

  1. Assertive - An assertive parent sets clear boundaries and rules and is loving and nurturing. Also called authoritative.

  2. Strict - A strict parent sets clear boundaries and rules but is not that responsive to the child. Also called authoritarian in psychology research.

  3. Indulgent (Love without limits) - An indulgent parent asks little of the child but gives the child plenty of attention.

  4. Neglectful (Too busy to be present) - A neglectful parent does not ask anything of the child and does not give the child much attention.
